Have anybody tried shiver shield gear yet? (Shivershield.com) sorry I can't link it. It sounds cool but not very tuff.

Unfortunately, the design and cut of the clothes don't make them very good for use in Alaska. Not enough collar, lack of pockets, lack of storm flaps, etc.. make them really unattractive to me.

Well, -300 would be about the wind chill I have been riding to the lodge at times for 63 miles... so can they spray him for about 3 hours, add a side wind and a rough trail? I would sure like to give it a try. Maybe they'll send me a pair to test.
