    Default Dry Fly Swap

I missed getting in on dmahay's swap, so I figured I would start another. I figured dries, anyone interested?

Count me in, Scott. Thanks for hosting!

I've really been itching to tie up some dries lately.

So U saying traditional Catskill dries "Just Sayen" Ok I am in but only because I am a sucker! Does not have to be a Walt Deets type of fly! Would be intersting to go back and create some crazy ole Fox Variants (Art Flick)or Au'Sable Wulff's (Fran Betters) type of flies.
As the Movie Said Bring it On however I ain't dancing!

I never followed these swaps, but you got my attention with dry flies. How do the swaps work?

I'm elbow deep in small dries right now, getting ready for a March trip for two months of trout in warmer places. Since my wife fishes as much as me and is smart enough not to start tying, everything I'm doing is in minimums of a dozen.

I'm in as well... Dry fly is a good theme.

    What's the deadline?
And again, lets try to keep it to 12.

I had fun with it last year. If it's cool to do so, I'd like to get in too. Please let me know if I can help out with anything like mailing or sorting. I felt bad about letting R do all the work last spring.

PM Sent on the PHW stuff, so as not to hijack this thread...
I'm a combat vet as well (10% disability for hearing), but I'd like to show up in a volunteer capacity. I may be down in Anchorage on Thursday anyway.

Im fine with that... There is probably a smaller pool of dry fly tiers.
I did already tie the twelve though, so I don't have a problem if anyone hops on late. I was waiting to send them until I heard the final # anyway.

    I'm good with that.

I'm going to tie a dall sheep hair-wing mayfly dun (BWO) that doubles as a nice little caddis pattern. I'll post a pic when I actual get one wrapped up.

Would you mind shooting me a message with your addy, Chief Dry Fly Community Organizer? I'll send you a dozen flies in a week or two.

Same here. They're tied and waiting for a destination. Any suggestions for the "right" shipping container for dries?
