    Cant say for all but the ones I fish out that way are only really good at early ice up youll get a few now but the "bite" is over out there imo...

    Overflow has been a bigger than normal problem this year out there as well.

    what are some good lakes to try I was thinking about trying Carpenter or Lorraine but don't know alot about them any advice would be nice my snowmobile is down so can't get out to any of the good lakes

    mattc, those are both some nice little lakes. Again, the overflow has been an issue there this year. Check out the F&G sportfish webpage lake maps and fish the normal contours you would anywhere, unsually around the points and you will do fine if you put your time in. Good luck!
