    Default 2010 Ram

I got my 2010 11 year old double broomed ram back in November. Charlie Livingston at Ak Wilderness Arts and Taxidermy is nothing short of a true artist. This mount surpassed all of my expectations.

Nice ram. Any ram is awesome but it's always nice to take out the older ones that might not make another season.

Very, very nice Frank, did you age him at all? Did he have many teeth left?

Thank you for the nice compliments. Our best judge of age is 11 years. The bases are 13 1/2 inches and the horns are almost 33 inches on each side. The "grinder" teeth on the left side were completely missing as well as several bottom teeth. Although he was very fat and healthy, I am sure that He would have had a tough winter. A good example of selective harvest, I think. The missing tips would have been another 6 or 8 inches but I like him just the way he is and wouldn't change a thing.

Terrible mount. I'm sorry he did that to your Ram.. What's up with the "sunken forehead"? It just doesn't look right. I'd like to see a "Field" photo of your Sheep. I may be off base here.... Maybe thats what he looked like? I hate it when people get screwed....

I laugh at a couple of my "mounts" every day. Yep...I've been screwed a couple times!!! Never again... (grin)

I think it's got the same ear funk that yours did Kotton with poor grooming and finshing for them.
