Good folks, they book most of their hunts on the first Monday in Dec, so you had better call them quick. Anything they have left will go fast after the draw comes out.

I realized you are new here, but what river is not a question that most will answer, but a river in GMU 20E

I have hunted moose, caribou, Grizzly and sheep with 40 mile. Was successful on all but sheep.

I get it. From their website it looked like they used three different rivers or routes to float. I do not want anyone to give up their secret spot

    Pilgrim,
    You don't list a location.....home state etc.

I suspect 40 Mile is booked for next fall. What is it that you intend to hunt?

I've hunted with 40 mile air twice and was successful both times. In my opinion they are one of the most professional outfits I have ever hunted with. The moose numbers in unit 20E are not very high, but if you do your homework there are some pockets of big moose.

two years out, sounds like you are starting early enough. Not sure how much research you have done so far. You may or may not be aware you are looking in an area that doesn't currently have a very dense moose population. There are moose there, and it us beautiful, and the bull/cow ratio is fair.. but overall numbers are quite low.. less than half a moose per square mile I believe. Just some thing to think about. That info is available.

    good luck

I don't even know if I'd do a float hunt. I did a drop off hunt with them in 2006 and my partner shot a nice moose. They have numerous strips and they are all moose producers if you do your part.

I,d use Golden Eagle outfitters in Delta given a choice.

Agree on using Golden Eagle outfitters. They did a great job for me. Had a small run in with 40 mile that I won't get into but it left a bad impression.
