That's a 9 year old with 10 1/4" X 6 1/4" horns. Thinking it will score maybe 52 because of the mass in the first half of the horns. Early season harvest and it would appear that it ain't gonna get any bigger. An exceptional trophy by SCI Standards!!!

    just kidding...Nice Goat!!!

Mallard..... Nanny?! Hardly. 9 1/2"?! Hardly. That there is a hog goat for sure. Hard to tell by the pic, need to see from the side. I say definitely 50+

Lurker hunting in the off season eh Mallardman?

Stud Billy. I only hope I corner one like that next August. With all the ram talk around here this might be crazy talk but I'd rather have a Billy like that than a ram in 2012.

I would bet easily over 10"-- let's say 10 1/2". I don't think his bases go over 6", although they may look smallish due to the giant head. He's a monster for sure, with no hair and looking that big, he's a bruiser. 53+ overall score.

Yup Bighorse, I hate to tag out early but when opportunity presents itself.

I don't think he goes over 10.5, but he has some nice mass to him.

We should keep this thread going after RH posts the size. I know you must have a ton of goat pics Bighorse.

Yeah, I lurk ok boys, NOW after RH posted another pic i'm stickin my neck out. I still think its bigger. 11" x 2, 6 1/4 base for a mass in the low 30's. I'm throwing 54 out there.

    One heck of a billy for sure. I'd say 10 3/4 and 6 3/4. just over 54

I got photos but at over 50 percent trophy loss they are gross and I wouldn't post em. It's a big goal of mine to recover a goat in a condition such as this one.
Shooting goats is easy, recovery not.

If I remember right, I read a report years ago that the face of a goat is roughly 12 inches and anything over 9 inch horns nowadays is a big goat. From the side view it doesn't look to be 12 but with the curvature, it's hard to tell. I'm guessing almost 11 inches
