Larue makes one hell of a rifle. I'd really look at their 18" PredatAR or OBR. The extra 2" does give your round a little more zip.

ar15.com is the best resource on there. Plus, you can go into the industry forum>Larue forum and have all your questions answered by either mark larue himself or one of his head guys.

Definitely the higher end of ARs. Plenty of other decent ARs for less money tho.

    I have less friends now!!

What is you use going to be? For me, I was looking for a home defense and fun shooting tactical type rifle. After a bunch of research I could find no need for the extra cost of the Larue. I settled on a Colt 6920 but haven't bought it yet.

Usually here this from those who don't or never owned a top of the line AR.

While I have no bones againts the 6920, perfectly good rifle, I own several colts. I would defend my home with it as well, however................something about nice rifles, quality rifles.

338, Sounds like you are looking at this weapon cause you can afford it.....Buy it, you'll not regret

If you have the money, you won't regret buying it. Larue makes top of the line gear. Plus, if you buy stuff from their website, they throw in some cool swag (bottle openers, BBQ rub, hats) to the box!

If I had the $$ to blow, I'd get one of their OBRs.

An 18 inch PredatAR is very high on my want list.

This rifle is another "Home Defense" piece. "I bought the 16" Larue PredaTAR. I have a riser coming and I will probably put the 1.5 X 5 VX III Leupold with the German #4 reticle on it, with Warne quick detach rings. Later I will look at a AimPoint M3. I am ordering Dueck RTS off set iron sights and a Vickers 2 point sling and then I need to decide on the light I will put on it. Then I wait for warm weather and go get some trigger time. The target they shipped with it has a very small 3 shot group. It is a good feeling light weight AR. Now I can't stop thinking about their 18" .308!

Nice! You will definitely love that rifle. Post some pics of that bad boy!

I can't say enough good things about my 18" OBR. Way more accurate than I am.

LaRue is my favorite AR15 shop right now. I have my eye on a PredatAR too, that is one sweet looking rifle. I wished the sold just the upper but unfortunately they don't. The Stealth line is pretty good looking too. Guess Id better keep saving my pennies and yeah they aren't cheap.

AK-Bandit that is one tight group. Nice shooting.
I'm going to ctrl-alt-delete you so hard your mama's computer is going to reboot.
