Anyone know any open creeks etc in the valley for some fly fishing???

I know some small spots that do not freeze over but they are too small.

Suck it up and face the facts - you probably not going to find "enough" open water til April/May.

Soft water is definitely hard to find this time of year. It's not in the Valley, but the Delta Clearwater near Delta Junction should be ice free. Plenty of catch-and-release grayling.

    Default Delta Clearwater

Don't the grayling drop out of the Clearwater in the winter?
