    Default Black Bear Baiting proposal's

    I wonder myself, they have alot props that's for sure... They seem to be more organized than the sheep hunters lol...

    Thanks for posting that link. There is a lot of proposals that I found interesting. It will take some time but it would be worth it for everyone to look through the proposals.

    Very interesting indeed.
    I googled the greater Alaska black bear committee and nothing came up.
    I wonder who these people really are? Is it just a group of friends who gave themselves a catchy name?
    Some very good proposals this year and some bad ones as well.
    I am not very fond of the ones proposed by Jim Stratton.
    Anyway thanks for the links.

    On page 164 it mentions eliminating baiting in all national park lands. Wouldn't that pretty much wipe out all baiting off of the Seward hwy and around Hope?

    No as those areas are National Forest lands not National Parks.

    Seemed like most of the bear baiting proposals are well thought out and make sense but some of those ones from Jim Stratton are very left wing, but that is expected of a Parky.

    You are correct, But if you read them close, or even the summaries; they used strategy in submitting the different proposals. I'd be interested to see who (what) this group really is.. If they don't become more transparent it may become a detriment to them.

    If you cant stand behind the troops in Iraq.. Feel free to stand in front of them.
