Thread: Pike?

  1. #1

    Default Pike?

I have caught a lot of pike in the summer, but really want to pull some through a hole in the ice. The only place I have tried so far is Fire Lake in Eagle River because of its easy access. Does anyone have a tip or two they would like to share about catching pike on Fire Lake, or catching pike through the ice in general?
    Any help would be awesome!
    Thanks!

There are some "secret" spots out there that I'd love to find as well. There are some guys I work with who post pictures on the bragging board at work every winter on a rather large lake with rows upon rows of dead pike lying next to their pop-up. Can't get any of them to let loose with the name of the lake. Titewads they are.

Look at the list of pike lakes on ADF&G. Get some tip ups and go try some lakes. Find the weeds...

Found the link at ADF&G. They hid it pretty well. This pulls up a PDF file that has a list of all the pike waters on the last page.
