Nope its a canal with some water draining from the everglades around Fort Lauderdale
Took us about 10 minutes to catch 3 decent bass. Im not that much of bass fisherman- do it because its easy for a kid. Once the water will get lower 50-70 fish a day are common (if you like to break that type of records). Its generally easy and enjoyable type of fishing.

    Mike,

    Mike,

I worked at a phosphate mine in Ft. Meade for ten years. The bass fishing was as good as it gets.

Just got done visiting my son and his family in Anchorage for three weeks. We were there for the birth of our ninth grandchild - a girl!

We are planning an early June self-guided float trip on the Alagnak.

While my wife and I reside in MS we also have a place in AR close to the Norfork and White rivers where we have some excellent trout fishing. (AAATrout.com)

Hope you have a Merry Christmas.

bowfin /mudfish the only reason I put that pictures because gave us hell of the fight. Second one is a peacock bass , unfortunately not that many of them left after cold winter 1 year ago...Snakeheads are great on topwater frogs if you want to bother with them....
