    Default Such a Windy Day

We decided to try our luck two days in a row. Mother nature had a different idea. Gale force winds were ripping at the lake but we decied to go out anyway. Took three of us to set up the Quick Fish 6 once up we were good to go. Managed this one little Laker took the quick pic and down the hole it went.

I do believe that was one of the windiest days I have spent out on Harding. My QF6 held up in those strong gusts and I was impressed. The wind was strong, but the bite was not on. Very finicky fish. We marked multiple fish for about the first few hours. However, they were not interested in our presentations. Ron was able to hook into his laker as a result of seeing the fish on the Vexilar and lowering his lure down to that depth. I cannot imagine trying to fish this lake without electronics. Good job Ron!!

Brave souls. I pulled up to Harding at 7:30 yesterday and watched the wind whip across the lake so I turned around and came back closer to Santa town. I didn't want to put up the QF-6 with only two of us in that nasty wind.
