Default A fiasco start but ends well...

Headed out to fish the valley with fellow forum member 900fusion. The day started out GREAT! The parking area we needed to park at wasn't plowed but we decided to give it try anyway. Wrong idea, the truck got stuck. After shoveling around the truck and actually leveling the vehicle it looked like an easy out. Nope! That truck wasn't going anywhere. We started waving in some vehicles and finally someone came to assist. In ten seconds we were out. Oh well...on to the next lake. We started punching holes every 50 feet or so and on the 6th hole we reached the depth we were looking for. We set up the hut and got situated. We were fishing at about 9 feet but the water was very murky. I ended up getting a few hits and even rolled one fish. It was a large fish and my morale just sunk. We caught a couple decent fish sporadically throughout the day. Finally after fishing for a few hours my jigging paid off. I was smashed hard by a larger fish. That thing ripped off some drag and did not want to come to the hole. Every time it got near the hole it would scream off ripping drag along the way. It finally presented itself and I knew I had a nice fish. 900Fusion was getting it all on video....Sweet! It finally came through the hole. We took a few quick photos and it was on its way. We get back into the hut to check the video and oops, someone forgot to hit record! lol oh well. Every camera man gets just one flub....just one...LOL all in all it was a pretty great outing even though the start wasn't so great. 'Till next time... Tight Lines!

Those are some nice looking rainbows guys. They look very healthy and definately are wild. Way to turn a bad start into a productive day.
