    Default Redhawk value

I would like to find out the value of my SS Redhawk in 45 colt it has the 5.5 inch brl. I am not ready to sell it yet, just getting an idea of it's value. Looks the same as it did when new, unmodified. It might have 100 rds through it.
    Thanks for your help

Don't know. There's a few listed on Gunbroker; one for as high as $800, but a quick search shows I can get one new for $700, so you can figure down from there.

Look closer at the model he says he has. 5.5" 45 colts are rare and no longer made. They are not on Gunbroker often and when they are they regularly go for over $900. I have seen some go as high as $1200. You can't get a new one for any price unless you find somebody who has one squirelled away because they don't make that model anymore.

I'll trade ya a 5.5" 44 mag with a round butt conversion! I'm in the process of switching to all 45 colt.

I'd buy it from you when you are ready to sell.

Thanks for the replies, very helpful.
Last week I traded a SS ruger Super Blackhawk for a S&W M&P 357 sig nice gun. If I let this one go I will just sell it outright, I have to many guns and not enough cash. I will need to do more homework before I commit to a decision. Selling on the net is all new to me..

    Thanks again for the help

    WELL,
I have decided to sell it. Now where do I sell it is the question. Gunbroker, or guns america ect. each of these sites want a percentage of the sale if I am not mistaken, which is ok with me. As I live in the interior of Alaska maybe I should just sell it FTF here, no hassel with shipping.
    Thanks for the help
