    Default Rebarrel

I'm in no way looking to change my barrel/caliber any time soon, but I've been reading and it got me thinking...

If you can change the caliber of a rifle with a rebarrel (considering bolt-face and everything work) is there a chart that shows what all a certain set up could be changed to? I have a .300 RUM and if I decide on down the road somewhere to change it to a different caliber (I'd probably just buy another gun), what are my options? Not planning on doing it any time soon, if ever, I'm just curious what my options would be with that caliber...

.338 RUM, .375 RUM and .404 Jeffery are your options.

Don;t know what you have but alot of model 70 in 300 RUM have been rebarreled to 404 Jeffery. Now they are hard as heck to find and when you do they are spendy.

I forgot to add the 7mm RUM to the list. I have a stainless model 70 in 300 RUM that is dying to become a .404 Jeffery.
