    Default 400L Idle problem.

I have a 1993 6X6 that doesn't return to idle as I would expect. WHen you give it half throttle it slowly stumbles down. The slide in the carb returns normally. It make it tough to shift gears. Anyone have any ideas.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Throttle cable could be sticking give it some grease, If that dose not work and you want to get by the cheap way til later turn the throttle screw down to almost a stall you can change gears then without grinding them

New cable.... the slide works fine. Vacuum leak or a carb setting?

Do you need the carb specs? New machine to you? Could be a simple air screw adjustment.

I purchased the service manual on CD and think that it is correct. Still playing with it a bit.
