Thread: Trustworthy Fairbanks Real Estate Agent?

Default Trustworthy Fairbanks Real Estate Agent?

Anyone got a good agent they like? I'll be up in July to buy a house. From Australia, I need someone who I don't want to murder a few years later.

I really like Charlie Rogers from Madden Real estate.... although I have yet to purchase he's been working to get exactly what I asked for.....for at least 18 months so far. Still keeps in great contact and returns phones calls/emails almost immediately. Note, he's a buyers specialist, and it truly appears he's 100% for me. I've contemplated buying a couple different houses and he was able to let me know why these particular properties weren't good choices for me.

    Good luck!

You won't find any better than Lori Price, period. http://www.lookwithlori.com/

"Trustworthy" + "Real Estate Agent" = oxymoron
(With due respect to those who have an agent in their family), you might as well be looking for a mythical creature.

It's been quite a while since I last used an agent, but I wouldn't look for one that I "liked", instead I'd look for one who was contractually bound to a particular level of service and to explicit fiduciary duties. The best thing is to find an "exclusive buyer's agent", which is quite different from a "buyer's agent". I suggest going to http://naeba.org/ for a list of area agents, then narrowing your choices (starting from that list) based on people's recommendations.

Talk with some of the title/mortgage companies in town.
