Default Looking for a dog sitter over the holidays in the Fairbanks area

I am wondering if any Fairbanks or even a little out of Fairbanks town folks can do a little dog sitting for my kids over the holidays? From December 19th to Jan 15th. They have already bought their tickets and the person they had lined up baled on them. We really need to find someone who can watch their 3 dogs so they can make the trip down to see family for Christmas. The dogs can be moved to your house or you can stay at their little cabin on Farmers loop. The 3 dogs are basically outside dogs, but are house trained and love to come inside to play when time and energy allow (Willie the boarder Collie and lead dog loves to play ball) they are super great with kids (they are around my 2 year old granddaughter <smile>) and are also good mushing/sledding dogs if you want to take them for a mush. I am sure the kids can provide dog houses and hay/bedding and will also do the cleanup work when picking the dogs up. All the dogs have been fixed and are current with shots etc...

Can anyone help or know someone else who might be interested?

It's just too expensive or I'd fly them out here so my son and his family can make this trip happen.

It might be a good opportunity to get into mushing and sled dog care!

Please PM me if you or someone you know are interested in helping out!

Thanks for all the comments...I think we have found someone out CHSR who can do it for the kids. They already have a kennel of 45 dogs, so what's 3 more <smile>!
