    Default Trouble applying for permits?

Has anyone had any problem getting the pages to load? I get to the page where I have to put in my residency and name and the cursor turns into a clock that just keeps going and going. The drop down menus never load anything, they just stay blank and it won't let me go any further... Help!!

My advice on this forum in regards to this matter has been questioned before, but I still offer it. Its free, try it. Use real live Microsoft Internet Explorer (not firefox, not chrome, not opera, etc...) and you might likely get better mileage. If it works, report back. Heck, report back anyway.

That's what I'm using, no dice...

I looked for other threads before posting and couldn't find any. If you know of any, I'd like to check them out to see what others did to get through...

Tier I went through without a hitch, just can't seem to get the regular draw application to go through.

Sorry bud. At least be aware that f&g are one of the hardest sites to be technologically compatible with. so you're not alone. There is still (just barely) time to submit via paper. Go for it and you'll make it in time.

It was a piece of cake for me, using Internet Explorer.

Had no trouble using a Mac and firefox.

I would try a different computer. Also did not turn in all your hunt reports?? I have heard that if you have not submitted your harvest tag reports that you are ineligible for the draw.

All my hunt reports are submitted and it worked last year. I guess I'll just start trying different computers...

You'd be ineligible, but that wouldn't stop the system from loading on a computer. Furthermore, I'm pretty sure fish and game would still allow you to apply, it'd just be a donation!

It was an ADFG thing, not you. It's been having glitches on and off since the app period opened.

And I will predict that they will again right before they post the results. You would think that they would get their web stuff figured out!!!
They just can't handle high traffic.

My suggestion is that everybody just avoid the whole fiasco by not applying.

You just need to try again at a later time when the F&G site is hung up. Same thing happened to me and I waited a few hours and tried again with success.

You all may well save your hard earned pesos and not apply. My wife has put in for the first time in her 32 years as an Alaska. Took 11 years of marriage, but I think I've got her convinced that she can't beat it, so she may as well join it. She's getting drawn for EVERYTHING!

As the luck seems to go, that is probably likely to happen. I convinced a friend's wife to apply a few years back. Her first year? Of course she draws Delta bison. I've heard the story a hundred times, and honestly it tickles me to see such beginner's luck.

Good luck to your wife! (and you too...I guess...unless you applied for the same hunts as me, in which case I wish great misfortune upon you)

Has anyone tried the online change tool? I know they had it down for sometime, but now they don't have the error message up on the site. I still can't get it to work.
