Hey, I'm looking for a freight forwarder that can get some Durabak to me from Seattle. The company won't ship to Alaska.
Pacific Alaska Freightways (PAF) they have a receiving terminal in Anchorage.
You can have your items shipped to PAF terminal in WA and have the items "marked for" with your name, address & phone number.
They will call you when item is here in Anchorage & you go pick it up.
PAF, Carlile, Span Alaska any of these three should be able to do it for you.
I use PAF for all my freight, great folks to deal with. Stay away from Carlile the few times i used them they screwed things up, cost me money by their mistakes and then wouldn't make good on them.
Alaska Shrimp Pots
Rigid & Folding Shrimp & Crab Pots
Electra Dyne Pot Haulers
Ropes, Buoys, Bait

Lynden or PAF would be my only choices. Lynden has different levels of service depending on whether you need it fast or if a week or two is Ok.
I just got quotes from the big 3 to ship an old Caddy bumber. PAF beat the others by 18%.
Used them before and will use them for this shipment.
Live life and love it
Love life and live it
Thanks guys. PAF's quote was HALF of Northlands...
Northland never does well on small items. They will stomp PAF when it comes to big stuff
Polar Supply used to carry Durabak, I bought some from there a couple of years ago. You might want to try them out before you look so ship some up.
