    Default Eagle River moose Found??

Is this the moose that was killed illegally in ER? Had a friend text me the picture saying she saw it this fall.moose.gifmoose.jpg

If this is the one you were referring to, I think it is a different bull. The left side of the antlers don't match.http://forums.outdoorsdirectory.com/...er+moose+arrow

I think they were referring to the same one. If you read down the thread that I linked to, he says that the moose in that thread was the one shot and addressed in the other thread that you linked to.

What a dandy! Always sad to see that much meat soaking into the ground... but it may have been a wolf kill or result of fighting, and not a poacher's ill placed arrow.

The left side looks like 2.....the right side looks like 3 to me. Not sure if that would be considered a double brow palm or not though. Good question.

Odd for sure, but if I were hunting a 4 Brow area, I would have to defer the decision to a judge in a black robe!!! I would pull the trigger.

I would consider that a 3x2, the other tines being bay tines .
