    Default First Brown Bear

    36 KODIAK AK 2011.jpg

Hello fellow hunters, I would like to share with you guys that on the day of Novermber 8, 2011 on Kodiak Island I took my first Brown Bear. The green score of the skull was 26 12/16". My dream of taking such an animal finally turned into reality. Thank you for looking and I wish you all great and safe hunts.

    Sincerely

    Wes

Congratulations. Looks like he tried to swim away from you down a creek. More details on your hunt please.

Nice! Looks like you dealt with severe weather. The kill site kinda looks like a mid elevation steep chute. I hope you tipped your guide well after that recovery. It should clean up really nice with that premium November hide.

    Wes, Congrats on that success,
looks like the experience of a lifetime

would love to hear more of your story, like,....

what caliber did you take it with,
How long where you hunting before you found him
How was your weather, what time of day,.......

Most of us really are interested in all that detail
That pic is awesome, but kind of a teaser
