    Default Trailer Parts??

Does anyone know of somewhere to buy electric trailer brakes/hardware on a Sunday in the Anchorage or Valley area? How something as easy as changing tires and adjusting brakes turns into a two plus day job is killing me and it's really going to sux when I can't put the wife's truck in the heated shop for Monday morning. I believe I will be having a cold week.

I have always been impressed with the hours that trailercraft is open in the winter. I think they cater to the snow plowing crowd. I would try giving them a call in the morning.

If the trailer never had electric brakes, it may not be that easy. The last time I added brakes the brake back plate needed to be welded on, if you have a welder there will be no problem. Check to see if the trailer has a plate to hold the brakes on?

If it's aluminum trailer check the frame for cracks, two out three trailers have atleast one crack.

Just my luck....no one in the office today and I am not that deseperate to drag someone away from family on a Sunday. Thanks for the info. I guess it's off to Lowes for insulation for the doghouse.

Thanks again, I had forgot about Trailercraft and the wintertime hours.

Is that for you?...since the wife's truck won't be in the heated shop.
Spending my kids' inheritance with them, one adventure at a time.
