I can only recommend this, get out and drive around the intended hunting area, while driving look for hare sign (tracks, cover with tracks and willows that have been nawed on by hares). When you see alot and I mean alot of sign stop and hunt the area. of course if there are houses nearby I would stop in and ask permission if it looks unowned or uninhabited have at it.

Anywhere south of Girdwood have a lot of rabbits. Hunt around 20 mile, across from the Whittier turnoff, by ingram creek or anywhere else there are rabbits all around.

He is looking for info around girdwood, Besides with all the bunny busters up around Eureka hare are getting thinner last time I was up that way the average size we were getting were early this years off spring and there are quite a few trappers up in that area this time of year as well.

I've had some luck south but not a ton. I'm getting the feeling that the population cycle is headed down/crashed. I like to shoot about 4 or 5 when I go out and then do some predator hunting. This year, I'm only getting 1 or 2 and it's taking me all day to do it.
    Finally, Brad Childress is GONE!
