Thought I'd post this for those who have cabins in the Petersville/Trapper Creek area. Last week there was one of the worst wind storms in recent memory. Lots of large trees went down in our area, which is a few miles west of the Parks Hwy between MP 118 and 120. Not sure how wide spread it was but it was pretty bad there from what I've heard.

One trail had 42 trees down across it. Our neighbor cut 16 trees out of our trail on his way in last weekend. Another reported 17 trees down around his place. He lost a shed and his cabin was hit but not damaged. Several others had outbuildings damaged. If you have something up that way, you might want to go check on it soon. About 2' of snow, so access is getting better.
