    Default Colt 2nd Generations

I have several Colt 2nd Generation black powder handguns that were purchased in the late '70s and early '80's -- Walker, 1st Dragoon, 3rd Dargoon, 1851 Navy, Pocket Police, etc. They're all unfired and have been in storage for 20 years. I'm looking for suggestions on where I could take them to determine their value or have them appraised.

I believe Uberti built them all for Colt. The Colt name on them will bring extra.I would check out the black power section of gun broker to see what they are selling for.
Now left only to be a turd in the forrest and the circle will be complete.Use me as I have used you

Default Online auctions or major guns shows

The repro precussion guns are generally tough to sell - even the Colts like you have aren't very popular.

Checking the completed auctions at Gunbroker of AuctionArms is the best way to get a grasp on the value. If you were in the lower 48 taking them to a major gun show would be a possibility.

Make certain you have all the boxes, paperwork, etc. that came with them to get top $$

The good nes is that you can sell them without going thru a dealer and can ship them thru the mail.
