Fixed 450 Alaskan problem
Thanks again for all the help I got with my 450 Alaskan. Sent the rifle (after much consultation and attempting to determine just what the heck the rifle was chanbered for) to Tim Tesch of Delta Junction.
Turn around time was totally amazing! Turns out the rifle had been chambered for something that was certainly not the 450 Alaskan but close enough so that a true 450 Alaskan reamer was all that was needed along with good headspacing to remedy.
Now I can hardly wait to shoot it.
I don't suppose anyone has any pet loads they have actually chronographed out there do they? I want to use a 400 or 405 grain bullet.
