    Default Whitter Report 11-3

Went out this morning a beatiful red sky..... Drove around to a few spots that I know have ducks. Saw few Goldeneyes, harlies and Surf Scooters.
Finally found an area that had a fare amoutn of duck activity....
We got a couple but the snow and wind came in full force...

Had to call it a day.... It was a hell of a ride back to the dock......

Once at the dock. we found the dock covered in 6 inch of snow.....

This made getting the boat out very tough. had to make a few runs up the ramp...

Hopefully monday I will go back out.......

Overall, surprised that we did not see bigger groups of ducks...

I was at the tunnel heading home at 3 PM. Gald I left when I did. I'll be watching the water for my next chance. Duckdon

Andy, How bad is it out there? Not for me to say. I been doing the hunting thing all my life and all over the world. It's been bad enough to keep me off the water all but 2 short days since the third week of October. Keep in mind I run a river sled and not a "ocean boat" but the the wind sunk the Edmondfitzgerald and they never found the 29 guys. Be careful out there. Lots of holes to hide in but it might be a week before the wind lays down enough to get back. The water looks to cold to swim it. Duckdon
