    Default Registration Kenai Goat Hunts

I stopped in the ADFG office in Homer and for those of you who insist on freezing your nads off and are still looking for a goat, the following areas will be open for registration........Port Dick, English Bay and the Resurrection Peninsula. I believe it said they'd be issuing permits , first come first served on the 28th. I already filled my Kodiak goat tag so I'm not eligible so have fun and stay warm.

Not surprised, but man...I sure was hoping for one more chance at chasing white (or yellowish) dots in the high country. Next year, I suppose.

I've still got a few in the bank...that is, as long as I don't have any major injuries or unexpected health impairments. Hopefully the Kenai goat populations will start to rebound and we can return to a time when there are some reasonable road-accessible registration opportunities.

This is the first year I've been looking to grab a registration permit near Moose Pass. Any chance they (RG339, 334, 342 particularly) will be available? My draw permit hunt (Port Dick) and registration hunt fell through this year, and I'm itching to get out there, snow be ****ed.

A portion of Resurrection Peninsula is road accessible and those portions hold goats.
