    Default Well tomorrow

Is the start of the ship creek moose hunt... Me and some others fellow are going to go in a few days on foot. Looks like it will be a little cold. I have the ol 375 ultra mag ready to go, but not really looking to shoot anything the hunt is more about my bud and hopefully get him a nice bull... But if the opportunity presents itself i might harvest one as well. So to all the hunters heading out tomorrow and through the weekend good luck!

Good Luck! I was told you were headed in later? I think taking the 6x6 would be a lot easier, but to each his own.

    That it is.

You can only use steel shot due to the potential of harming the salmon with lead and you have to qualify at the fish and game office with your shotgun. You can not change shotguns either it has to be the one you qualified with.

The qualification course involves milk jugs set up at random intervals from 5-30 yards and you have to be able to hit them while being pushed along the firing line in a wheelbarrow by your hunting partner. Similar to an LA drive by shooting minus the bling bling car/truck and full auto assault rifles.

We will just put the pizza in the cooler on the 6x6 like we do sheep hunting.

I do admit I am a bit of a city boy but I have seen how some of you rural residents go about hunting and it isn't all that much more of a roughing it experience than 323 and I do. Come to think of it we have even roughed it with a couple of you rural guys and gals once or twice. How did you think I came up with the cooler and 6x6 idea?

Any man that hunts in basketball shorts can't be roughing it all that much!
