Default Need trailer for 16 foot jet boat- seeking advice

My boat trailer for my 16 foot Smokercraft is beyond tired. It's so rusted that I wonder if it will make it to the river and back. I need to replace it. I live in Nome, so I'd need to ship it from Anchorage. Where would you go to purchase a basic boat trailer in ANC? If it is disassembled for air shipment, then even better. I don't mind paying a fair price, I just don't want to get hosed. Your recommendations are sought.

    Thanks.

Are there any welders in Nome?

It's held together with weld now. It's hard to weld rust, especially when the original thin metal is corroding through. The boat was made in 1979. It's in surprisingly good shape. The trailer needs replacement. I'm tired of repairing it. I'm guessing that the boat with engine weighs about 500 lbs.

Got it. But I was suggesting a new trailer, welded up right there, from materials you could fly up there from ANC. Sorry if that's a dumb idea; just trying to help.
