    Great boat:

    Plus great captain:

    Plus great fish:

    Equals a great time.

Homer was nice and quiet with all the summer traffic gone. Life does not get much better than fresh feeder king on the grill.

Nice!!! I've been Picking Jim's mind to get my act together for a shot at the winter kings from my kayak. He really seems to know his stuff and has been extremely helpful.

Ooo...this definitely bumps up the desire a few notches! Nice fish!

Beautiful, simply beautiful. Kind of one of those magic moments that makes Alaska what it is.

Right in front of the condos. First one was only 6 or 7 pounds but kept it thinking how much fish can I eat! Dropped again, while bragging to a friend on the phone I hook up again!!! This time it's a real one! Maybe 15 to 20 pounds. Herring behind a pro troll 11 inch flasher. Too bad the weather was like summer! Too bad?!?! I'm nuts. Better pics and hopefully video later. Thanks to everyone for their advice! It CAN BE DONE!!! UNREAL!!!!!

Hmmm...cut out some of the post. Need 3G... Lol. Meant to say right in front of condos out to the green buoy. Most fish I saw caught on the shallow side of green buoy. Mine were closer to the condos.

I get the pee break fish more often in a power boat but in a kayak the liquid management takes away one of my most effective means of getting a strike.

Very nice!!! I'm kicking myself for NOT going out today but I decided to do some pre-snow duties on my deck today and I could see boats out there trolling around. I just looked through my binocs and counted 5 boats around the green can.
