Thread: Bear Skull Cleaning

    Default Bear Skull Cleaning

A while back, somebody posted some pics of their bear skull. Whomever they had do it, left the teeth yellow, while the skull was bleached white, I thought it looked very cool. I've searched the archives, and can't seem to find that thread. Am wondering if anybody knows who did the work, or knows anybody that can pull this off. I am wanting the skull done with beetles, yet have the teeth kept yellow. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks, J

Here ya go,, it was Chris, he does work for a skull cleaner on Kodiak. He removed the teeth before he whitened the skull and then glued the teeth back in. Great guy and awesome work, going to have him do mine for me if I get lucky this fall.
