    Default 2010 Koyukuk antler mount

My father just finished my 2010 Koyukuk antler mount. He prides himself on his workmanship and does everything himself, starting with the wood work. He usually chainsaw mills a stump or burl and works it from there. The wood for this piece is bookended and I think looks great. Now it just needs the name plaque installed. Thanks Dad!!!

Good lookin woodwork. Love the texture in the grain of the wood.
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed

One piece of wood cut in two and put together like a mirror image. Or like a mirror was placed in the middle of the piece of wood. If it wasn't so high up on the wall I would get a better pic. "bookended" is probably not the correct term, but that's what I use.
