Default The T.V. show "TOP SHOT"

This is one show I find entertaining.

I would have in my younger days tried out for this show.

It's not a bad show, I usually record it and fast forward through the commercials and the drama parts and then just watch the shooting parts, makes the show about 20 minutes long. I don't have a shot in hell but I plan on applying next time they are accepting applictions.

I put in this last winter for this season, but when the producers called me I couldn't make the time line work. You are sequestered for 6 weeks (no TV, phone, internet, etc...) during filming. I had family coming up for 2 weeks right in the middle of their schedule so I told them to pull my app. I'm thinking pretty hard about putting in again for next season though. It would be a hoot I think.

Nothin beats MacMillan River Adventures with Shawn Michaels....nothin!!!
We do not go to the green woods and crystal waters to rough it, we go to smooth it. We get it rough enough at home; in towns and cities; in shops, offices, stores, banks anywhere that we may be placed

Thats to funny rob, so I won't ruin the twist that came about from Jakes departure.

Man I would have liked the 50 cal. shooting at moving targets at 500 yards.

I appreciate you not ruining it, some people just have no class (just kidding Doug).

I would pay good money to do most of the challenges they do, just not the rock throwing crap.

LOL right as I read this the show had just kicked on, there was staged comical scene where Top Shot was mentioned on the show.

Solely humor based. I too enjoy top shot!! Watching right now.

I think The Nuge would have something to say about that!!! Although I keep waiting for Ted to drop out of the tree and take big game with just his knife. Top shot is a great show.

Sorry Rob. There is a good twist at the end that makes it worth watching.

So entitlement and affirmative action don't always work on T.V. shows, should have read the fine print.
Now left only to be a turd in the forrest and the circle will be complete.Use me as I have used you

I second being happy Jake is gone. No class and a poor sport.

Glad this year's participants are mostly making decisions based on performance unlike last year. Last year's participants picked who was going to each elimination challenge based on personalities and teams instead of performance. I stopped watch Survivor a long time ago because of that, and I'm so glad Top Shot came back to being a shooting show and not another typical "reality" show.

Interesting show - I too, could live without the rock throwing. Although, I imagine Gen Custer may have resorted to that in the end???

I still think that Mike has a hell of a chance at it. He had a bad day when he was eliminated, and he proved himself in that rifle segment to get back in the game. The church camp counselor kid has a ton of natural ability, I wouldn't bet against him.

I like the show, but know there are tons of shooters out there better than the winners. The physical aspect of the show leaves out some of the top shooters in the world. Take Rob Leatham for example... probably one of the best pistol shots ever, but his knees couldn't take some of the stuff on the show. Then, add in the fact that AkMud brought up about taking 6 weeks off to compete and you leave out another big group of shooters.
