    I know i've missed the big runs of salmon. I'f some one could help point me in a direction to go catch some fish, i'd be most thankful. live in anchorage, have a truck & sundays/mondays off

    frm soldotna thrd, kenai sounz doabl for silvrs. ucan also ck w/fish&game for area lakes stockings.

    Head to the Kenai! Can catch silver and rainbows! Check ADFG website for lake stocking info for anchorage area

    actualy, dont kno how familiar u r w/the kenai-prbly bigger bryter fish. whittier closer but chances of chromage mor lykly less

    kid,

    If I were you I would head on down to Kenai River. Anywhere between Cooper Landing and Sterling/Soldotna probably. Lots of silvers and most are really bright still unlike the living dead in other places. Trout fishing is awesome too. Have spent the last two or three weekends down there and had a great time. Seen some bears too.

    hkr: To be brutally honest, I think your textspeak is extremely annoying. Sorry. You give good info but having to decipher all that is just too much. Thought my threads were dumb sometimes but this is like trying to read some of the notes my young teenage daughter leaves for me. Please don't take it too personally. My big fault in life is that I'm too outspoken! Take care.
