    Default Been a while!

Its been a while since i posted on this great section, Ive been a nympher my whole life due to the fact that is how i grew up flyfishing, after watching the fish explode on the surface this past weekend made me want to start tying some dries, ive tried before but never really liked the outcome, lets face it its just easier to tie nymphs. so with gearing up for the upcoming weekend i faced my rival and tied up a few dries lets just hope the fish will like them.

    Materials:
    Body: gray dubbing
    Wings: Grizzley Hackle
    Tail: Polar bear fur.

Great ties, 2 things i would say to improve on is to make the bodies sparce. and make the hackle a little thicker, and those babies will float all day. Great ties dude

Hooks look a little heavy for a dry, what hook did you use? What size? Great looking fly and should hunt well.
