Default Freshwater Chrome in SE AK

Just got back from a Prince of Wales Island trip last week. My fishing partners and I fished for Silvers entering freshwater rivers and streams. The SE limit is 6 a day. The Klawock Hatchery run is usually a late September event and we hit the timing just right. There was high water just before we arrived and a big slug shot through and then the last two days we fished some dime bright, sea lice carrying chromers came in. Green Pixees were the go to lure or just about anything green. Also, pink and black did well. Big fish for our group was 13 pounds.
