I've never heard of anyone catching or even seeing sheefish in the Chatanika...but maybe. I've only caught whitefish and grayling. You may want to try posting in the freshwater fishing forum since the Chatanika doesn't come withing 400 miles of saltwater (ok, maybe 350 miles).

I caught a 36" Sheefish in a tributary to the Chat in July last year, The name of the river escapes me at the moment................? Not far from where the Chat hits the Tolo.
So they are certainly in the Chat, but dont know about timing?
I expected to catch more but fishing was slow, was actually trolling when I caught it.
