    Default Oh well

I was hoping to get out and find some white bunnies before the snow hit the valleys. Been too busy at work to even check to see if they are white yet and now the way the weather is acting I might not get a day off before the snow hits! Anyone know if they are turned around the Eureka area through the Hope area yet?

I was up past Eureka today and saw a few bunnies. They were a light grey color, I would give another week before the true white comes through.

Too early for full white... and they are aware of that too. Lying low during daylight until they match their surroundings.

We got one a few hours ago and it is white feet and belly with gray head, back and sides. We only saw 4 in three hours of hunting and connected on only one.

One got hit by a car on my road some time this last week, it had white under belly and feet just as you described.

Shot 25 or so of them in a weekend (two weekends back), and they looked like halibut: white on the bottom, and brown on the top! Great fun for sure! Done hunting that spot for the year though, gonna give it a break til next season!
