Question Whats your favorite picture of the year?

Most of the time my favorites are of the catch, yet some don't even have fish in the picture but are of my friends and family out enjoying the adventure. This is mine, what's yours? Just one pic please. Thanks!

Lots to share, but I like this one of my two foster kids. We had a 100+ king year. Not our biggest, but certainly a fun day.

Default My apologies, yep. I was incorrect.

I knew that but dungey sounded cooler in my head while I was typing. Speaking of crabbing, have you caught any gold king crab out of pws? if so how deep are them little *******s typically?

    Default No balls

Nice pic spoiled! I've wanted to jump in on those warm summer days yet there is always something telling me "hell no" and it always over powers the "want".

I don't know about the typical depth, but we've pulled 'em up on occasion on circle hooks from 2,000' or so.

    Brian Commercial Longlines PWS.

No rod, but if he ever gets down to the backing of THAT reel he could be tied to the dock in Valdez and the fish would be off Bligh Reef.....

This one seemed to capture the essence of a nice day on the water.

Those that are successful in Alaska are those who are flexible, and allow the reality of life in Alaska to shape their dreams, vs. trying to force their dreams on the reality of Alaska.

If you have a tenuous grasp of reality, Alaska is not for you.
