Default BIG MOOSE 66" Shot by Kid Hanging at Sportsman's Warehouse Wasilla

I was just in Sportsman's Warehouse in Wasilla and saw a huge 66" moose rack brough in by a kid. The young hunter did not give any idea of where he shot it except "in Alaska", but beautiful rack.

He entered it in the Horn & Antler contest. There is another 68" moose taken outside of King Salmon. It is good to see some big moose.

FYI, Sportsman's Horn & Antler contest is accepting Moose, Caribou, & Sheep taken in 2011. They are giving out prizes for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in three categories, (rifle, archery & youth). I hear the biggest over all of each species receives a free shoulder mount. If you have been lucky, you'll want to get your racks over to the store. The store in Wasilla is the only store in AK holding the contest.

Hey your talking about me! My name us Logan and that trip was my graduation present. Me and my dad were dropped off out of holy cross and I shot that moose after calling it in with an AR chambered in 450a bushmaster that I built. I packed the hole thing out on my back.......
