    Default Where is Vince?

OK I hope I'm not stepping into anything here, but I got to wondering where Vince is. In my limited interaction with him he seemed like a solid guy, and he was a regular contributor on the forum with 7K + posts. I did a search and did not find any explanation, and his profile suggests he has not been on the forum since 2/11. Am I the only one who is in the dark here, or are there others who have missed him? Please explain, and forgive me if I ended up in Area 51 here. Thanks

Please take no offense Steve, it's not intended.

However I believe that it was a bit more than "Cabin Fever", and Vince didn't take his ball and go home, he was removed from the game.

I cannot and will not speak for others, but another Cabin Fever Season is approaching, and I for one believe that we kept one member who contributes nearly nothing, and lost Vince and others who contribute significantly to this site. If I where going to choose from those who didn't get the boot and those that did when it came to doing anything in Alaska, the choice there is a no brainer.

Hope Fall is treating you well sir, and again, please don't take the above in ANY way as an affront to you or this site.

Hippie is right, Vince is very much alive and well and as cranky as ever. He might not post any more but he does sometimes comes back and sneak a peek.

Odd, "cranky" is one of the last words I'd use to describe Vince......

Vince and his gals had a great hunt on the slope this year. They flew with 70 North and scored on some nice Bou. I really like Vince and he is missed here.

I also miss Vince. Oddly enough, considering the considerable amount of time I spend on this forum, I have no idea what transpired that caused his departure.

I think "succinct and bluntly honest" would cover it.

I vote for a return for Vince. He was Member of the Year, didn't get the prize pack that was promised, had to deal with blatant dishonesty from the same member that I have problems with, and did what he felt was right.

It's bad PR for Strahan to deal with so many departures while allowing the dishonest member to stay.

Vince was a guy who cared. Active with the local advisory committee. Very helpful on this forum.
As hippie said, he was removed from the game. Every bodies loss!!

Thanks for asking the question. I was wondering this a month or two ago, which led to a user name search, which led to the the conclusion that Vince was a real asset to this site.

Would make for a good Poll Question, eh?
