    Default Goat meat

what do you guys do with the meat? I got my first goat this year. I generally do all my own processing, steaks, roasts, stewmeat, etc and take leftovers to indian valley for pepper sticks, sausage etc. I was thinking on the goat, making a few roasts and taking the rest in for some sausage and burger.

I really like the flavor of mine, but did find it a tad tough. Used the choice cuts for steaks and roast and double ground the rest using all the natural fat that was on him. The ground meat is simply awesome and we eat it often.

I concur. The few goats I have eaten have been great. Have not had a rutty one though. Treat the same as you do all game.

Thanks, I got is all processed. I cut half a dozen roasts, ground a lot of burger. Made some breakfast sausage and even tried making some polish sausages, they turned out good. I had a goat burger tonight, it was delicious.
