I'll follow the wakes Saturday I'm in on the Yentna too, It's going to be a good run.
By the way, putting me out front on the knik run was "trail by fire" Bob, but it was really cool to see the river before all the wave action.

Is the launch completely closed off by the sand bar at the opening. A few weeks ago we launched on step and between the stakes.

Yeah the landing website says its pretty much pinched off now, I made it in and out this last weekend but its been dropping. Launching off the Dike isn't too bad that's what I will be doing from now till ice flows.

So is there still enough water to run from the deshka landing down to the yentna and up it? Hoping to find some pike sloughs and or a moose....

There's plenty of water in the rivers. Just have to launch off the Dike at the landing. Pike fishing might be hard to get to if the water is low.

The launch just got a temp. Dredge job today we ran in and out in a 24 foot tj so launchs should be no problem. Yetna is up a couple feet you should be able to get anywhere.
