Default Dead HOPE Bears & Sunny Fall Colors

The Black Bears are boiling out of Bear Creek today and heading for Cub Creek. And they are not feeding, they are hauling butt. Word is that a lot of Black Bears got tipped over yesterday (Saturday). Now I have to DLP two amorious Squirrels.

Word is atleast 5 dead, maybe 7 dead. I spent the day up Summit Creek on a walk'about with the hiking club, I seen NO Caribou, and only one Black Bear. There are two on the hill behind the cabin right now, they came out of Bear Creek, they stopped moving and are now feeding. It is a lovely day to set rafters.

I was supposed to be out there all day. Then My hunting partner ditched on me to watch football all day! After exhausting my phone my wife informed me that I would have a miserable week if I went out on my own! Dang! Atleast Penn State and the Steelers won!

    AGL4now,

You sure have inspired a lot of black bear hunters. I'll be looking for one or two on the peninsula starting on the 30th. Lots of free time to hunt'em then. Maybe you can save one on the hillside for me.
