    Default mph/mpg with a Scott 21' and 18 or 23 Mud Buddy?

I searched; too little time to read all the threads. Anyone have a comment on this? Thanks. Trying to plan for trip tomorrow; a bit behind w/ work, etc. I hate it when that happens. Thanks. j

I would take a wild guess and say 25-30 mph, and 10 mpg.

When you measure it via GPS though, post up the real answers, please.

i read a tad. one gent posted 17 mpg, and i believe that was averaged going upstream and down. that is about what i recall marc taylor telling me, too. very roughly, 15 mpg, 15 mph. i will post the info i have and how the 23 performs when we get back. j

If that proves so, I'd bring the pitch of the prop up a notch or two. They guys that designed the MB weren't thinking of the skinny boat you're putting it on; they were prop-ing it more for a wider jon boat design I bet.

As to mileage, you can haul so much weight that I bet you could plan for only 7-8 mpg and just be happy when you return to your launch point with 10 gallons left over.

Looking forward to hearing your results!
