Thread: Why is this possible?

    Default Why is this possible?

My Grand Son got a used 2005 Polaris Phoneix. I posted earlier about it taking forever to build up RPM's. For some reason it will take right off in reverse but not in the forward gear. What the heck would cause this?

Lots of dirt in the clutch springs?? May need new clutch springs. If is goes good and builds speed in Reverse and not forward I would suspect the clutch.

Thanks for the reply. It will eventually build speed in the forward gear once the rpm's pick up, just builds faster in reverse. Do you still think it could be the clutch/springs?
