I think he's a foot guy. He'd start at the bottom and work up!

Yesterday was pretty decent. Chuck and Nick were slaughtering the dollies and bows on some beads. Heck I even caught a few. Most of the gravel bars up top were under water but the few that werent had good fishing. Walked down to the confluence of the Russian/Kenai this morning and the water was way way up. Probably 4 ft higher than normal. But the silvers were stacked in there like fire wood with a few bows and dollies mixed in. Me and my buddy each caught our silver fairly quickly.

Yes water is high but fishable. Fished the middle sat and the upper today. Water is still fairly clear on the upper. Middle doesn't get dirty until a ways down from the outlet where a few tribs dump in. Gets really bad a little bit up from bings. LONG leaders are a must. Gravel bars are mostly under water.

Canoed from Sportsmans to jims on the 6th. what a trip. Went pretty smooth, caught several fish. One nice size bow. Dan, thanks again for the help. We had a great drift trip on sunday. Many bows and vartin, with a few silvers. Can't wait to go back.
