    Default Hamilton 212 Cutlass bearing

I am going to have my impellar rebuilt and thought about replacing the cutlass bearing. I have about 300 hour on the boat and have used it mainly on the Sue and whittier. I hear the bearing is almost $300 bucks

What does everyone think of this one instead http://www.deepblueyachtsupply.com/m...tless-bearings

Seems alot cheaper and I would think is the same quality. It would need to be cut down to 115mm but what do you guys think?

alaskabliss--you don't wanna go brass. Call Harbor Hydraulics in Cordova. Ray has sold more Hamilton jet stuff than anybody in the US, that I can guarantee. Ray quit using brass because it corrodes your jet housing and is hard to get out, he uses a synthetic cutlass, the rubber inside is the same just the housing is synthetic

    I'm taking a poll

Thanks for the advice. I will give them a call. Any idea of the cost?
